- Sally Robinson Added May 14, 2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy the Host/Restaurant Manager very friendly & welcoming and found us a table quickly despite the fact we hadn't made a booking. Unfortunately that's where the good service ended.
Upon collecting my meal, a steak, I wasn't given any sauce, when I asked for it, the server held the docket up in my face and snapped that I hadn't ordered any. Ummm actually I did! Instead of just saying "sorry it wasn't on the docket what sauce would you like?" I was made to feel somehow it was my fault it hadn't been included.
I'm sure these thing happen from time to time. I didn't think I was being unreasonable asking for it. The server must of seen the look on my face and said "well we can only do what's on the order" Again, this was my fault?? My reaction was not to the no sauce but her reaction to my request to have some. In the end I got the sauce and the steak was as tough as old boots, so I don't think I'll be hurrying back any time soon.
